Rowdy by nature. Precise by design.
Big wheels. Bigger attitude.
The Switch9er Gen V brings the speed and stability of 29" wheels and throws in a heavy dose of mischief. It's more than a hardtail. It’s a full-send machine built to ride harder, climb better, and last longer than you'd think possible from a bike without rear suspension.
The hardtail that makes you forget full-sus even exists.
You want confidence on the descents, pop on the jumps, grip in the corners, and something that doesn’t wallow when you pedal back up. The Switch9er brings it all together — a 29er that behaves nothing like the big-wheeled wagon-plank stereotype.
Built to do the dirty work of enduro without needing a shock, this is a bike for riders who like it fast, loose, and efficient.

The Switch9er shares its DNA with our much-loved Switchback — but stretched out for 29" speed and stability. And just like its little sibling, it rides like it’s got something to prove.
Let’s break it down:
- A CNC’d dual-sided yoke brings stiffness where it counts, letting you push into corners and hold your line without flex.
- Short chainstays make it playful and responsive — manuals, flicks and last-second line changes are always on the table.
- The BB drop is dialled in for agility without losing that 29er calm when things get wild.
- The geometry is balanced and progressive — not for marketing buzz, but because it works.
Put it simply: if you want to feel like the bike's on your side when you're going sideways, this is the one.
Every Stanton frame starts with the material, and for us that means tubing you won’t find anywhere else. While many brands rely on off-the-shelf tubesets, we go a step further. Our steel is seamless, custom drawn, heat treated, and triple butted to our own specifications, giving each frame the perfect balance of strength, resilience, and ride quality.
This process gives our tubing an exceptionally high tensile strength relative to its wall thickness, which allows us to achieve the durability riders expect without adding unnecessary weight. In practice, that means thinner walls where compliance and comfort matter, and thicker reinforcement in high-stress zones — the best of both worlds.
But it’s not just about numbers. Steel has a unique ride feel, and our custom blend is developed to enhance exactly that. The natural elasticity of the material helps the frame absorb trail chatter and vibration, adding comfort over long rides without dulling feedback from the trail. The result is a frame that feels alive under you: stiff and direct when you’re pushing hard, but forgiving enough to keep you fresh for hours.
This is tubing designed with intent — not simply strong for the sake of it, but carefully tuned to the demands of aggressive trail, enduro, and adventure riding. When you throw a Stanton into the rough stuff, you’re not just riding a steel frame — you’re riding steel that’s been shaped, treated, and selected specifically for the way we believe a hardtail should ride.

We’ve updated all GenV models for modern drivetrains with full UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) compatibility. That means the GenV Switch9er is ready for the future — whether you’re running a mechanical drivetrain today or eyeing up a SRAM T-Type Transmission build down the line.
By adopting the UDH standard, we’ve made derailleur alignment more precise, crash recovery easier, and replacement hangers universal — no more searching for proprietary parts. The UDH system also ensures perfect integration with SRAM’s latest direct-mount, hangerless drivetrains, so your Switch9er is fully Transmission-ready straight out the gate.

Between 130mm and 160mm, though the geometry is based around a 140mm fork. A 140mm fork provides a balanced and playful ride, while a longer 150mm or 160mm fork increases capability for more aggressive riding.
